Quotation from Wang Xiangzhai
Just had a look at the site with quotation from Wang Xiangzhai: 以形取意, 以意象形, 形随意转, 意自形生, 式随意从, 力由意发, with translation being completely wrong, you could even say that opposite to the meaning. This can be a serious problem, when people will start propagating ideas about yiquan, which are based on misunderstandings being result of completely wrong translations. Here's maybe not perfect, but a bit more accurate translation of this quotation: "use form to get intention/idea, use intention to express form, form is changing following intention, intention is born from form, posture is following intention, force comes from intention". More or less this meaning.
Free Step Tui Shou tests
YIQUAN.COmpetitions Free Step Tui Shou tournament tests were organized in Warsaw, Poland. Next tests in the same format in February. Easy San Shou tests in March. And International tournament in 3 formats: Easy Tui Shou, Free Step Tui Shou and Easy San Shou in May 2013.
