Master Yao Chengguang's disciple Xie Yongguang conducted an Yiquan seminar in Rizhao, Shandong province.

Yiquan seminar was organized in Lubartów, Poland.

Yiquan seminar was organized in Warsaw, Poland. Apart from zhan zhuang, shi li, fa li, the participants focused on training with a wooden pole and methods of counters of head attacks and knee attacks in pushing hands.

The 5th All China Yiquan festival was organized on 5-7 October 2017 in Linqing, Shandong province, China. There were demonstrations and tournaments in tui shou and san shou. There was also "chinese yiquan vs. japanese karate" challenge. The first fight was won by the Japanese, the second by the Chinese by knock out, the third ended with a draw, but the Chinese was pronounced the winner because of lower weight.

An Yiquan seminar was organized in Brno, Czech Republic. Participants focused on learning elements of intermediate level programme.

A 3 weeks series of Yiquan Academy Summer Courses was organized in Warsaw, Poland. There were participants from Poland, Byelorus, Ukraine, Finland, Sweden, Austria, Italy, and the Netherlands.

Yiquan Academy training with master Yao Chengguang in Beijing, China was organized in June 2017.

Yiquan Academy seminar was organized in Lubartów, Poland. The focus was on tui shou practice.

Another Yiquan Academy seminar was organized in Florence, Italy.

A 5 days intensive Yiquan course was organized in Warsaw, Poland.

An Yiquan conference commemorating master Yao Zonxun (1917-1985) was organized in Beijing.
